Emanations from the Mood Vector is a sonic installation consisting of a number of long wires stretched for distances ranging from 30 to 100 feet. Each wire when plucked or otherwise agitated produces a different thunderous pitch. Long springs are stretched perpendicularly between floor and ceiling in close proximity to the wires and can be shaken against a wire in order to create sustained tones. Vibration sensors at the termination points of the wires are used in order to electronically amplify the sound.
